Micro-Spatial Efficiency
Building in remote forests requires zero footprint waste. The Kuusi model merges a 6m² hot sauna room with a 6m² multi-tier sleeping and writing loft. The central hearth acts as both a rapid steam sauna engine and an overnight radiant heat source for the elevated bed platform.
Bi-Fold Partition System
When not taking sauna, insulated sliding cedar pocket partitions fold back to expand the living area, allowing heat from the stone heater to gently warm the desk and sleeping quarter.
"Minimalist timber architecture is not about austerity; it is about eliminating clutter until only warmth, pine scent, and birdsong remain."
Zero-Concrete Ground Screw Footings
- Eco Ground Anchors: Mounts on 6 galvanized ground screws without pouring concrete, leaving forest moss undisturbed.
- Solar DC Circulation: 200W rooftop mono-crystalline panel drives a silent DC air-exchange fan under the stove.
- Rain Harvest Roof: Pitch directs clean runoff into a cedar charcoal bio-filter tank.
